Littéralement, Baueneinflugzeug signifie “fabriquer un avion”. C’était le nom de mon premier projet photo il y a plus de 15 ans. Il est resté pendant toutes ces années comme un leitmotiv. À la manière dont un avion est assemblé, pièce par pièce, nous assemblons également les souvenirs qui ont marqué notre existence. Nous fabriquons ainsi “notre avion”, un bagage mémoriel destiné à être le support de notre dernier vol.
Baueneinflugzeug¹ est un hommage à la banalité quotidienne. Un recueil de beauté et d’ennui, figés dans l’imperfection du support argentique comme la vérité d’un instant.
Literally, Baueneinflugzeug means “build a plane”. It was the name of my first photo project more than 15 years ago. It lasted all those years and became a leitmotiv. As a plane is assembled, piece by piece, we gather the memories that have left a trace in our existence. We, in our very own way, build “our plane”, a memorial luggage dedicated to be the support of our final flight.
Baueneinflugzeug¹ is a tribute to daily ordinariness. A collection of beauty and boredom frozen in the imperfection of film photography as an instant truth.
